Creative Commons Launches New Search Engine for Finding Free, Legal Images
To be a content creator, a social media maven, a strategic digital marketer, there are several tools that one needs in his or her toolbox. In addition to writing skills, knowing how to interpret the analytical data and being creative, images are paramount in any and all forms of social media (Twitter would be the only exception to this). Now, thanks to Creative Commons, finding that perfect image will be a lot easier.
Even though CC’s new image search engine is still in its beta phase, there are already 9.4 million images available for legal, FREE use. The beauty of this search engine is that it combines multiple sites together into one site, rather than having to search across the interwebs. Another two bonus is that 1) images are also pulled from several different museums across the world, and 2) users can create lists, add tags and create favorites to come back to. Next time you are in need of an image to go with a creatively written post, we recommend checking out this brilliant new search engine.
