Brands Are Using Podcasts As Part of Their Content Marketing Strategy
I listen to A LOT, literally dozens, of different podcasts, covering several different subjects, and am always on the lookout for a new one to add to the rotation. (I’m even listening to one as I write this.) Some Podcasts make it pretty obvious when you’re hearing an ad, and others sneak it in a bit more subtly. What’s interesting to me, at least, is that I’ve actually started to use at least 3 brands after first being exposed to them via Podcasts, and I’ve never stopped listening to a podcast because of advertising. I want to consume this content, and listening to ads is the price I pay to do so. And if there isn’t a podcast out there with content relevant to your business, maybe you should start your own!
